RENTAL TERMS
BOOKING, PAYMENTS, CANCELLATIONS, DAMAGES + LIABIILTY:
Current Roam Creative Studio, LLC. Policies are final and agreed to upon payment. The paying client (Renter) assumes all liability for all guests, including themselves.
Booking: To secure your booking/session, we require full payment at time of booking. You may book up to 2 hours in advance.
Cancellations/Reschedules: Rescheduling is only allowed with notice 24+ hours prior to your booking. If rescheduling occurs within 24 hour window to your original booking a new booking will be required. Payments are not transferable. Please note that while we do understand a rescheduling may occur, in order to run a sustainable business, all bookings are non-refundable, and all pricing is subject to change without prior notice.

Often, rentals are booked back to back. Because of this, both setup AND cleanup must be included in the rental time you reserve.
Wall Mirror: The mirror is NOT to be moved. Any removal from it's original location will result in a $100.00 fee, no exceptions.
Headcount: The maximum headcount allowed in the studio space is capped at 10 people at a time. You ARE allowed to have more than 10+ people in and out of the studio, but the studio space cannot exceed 10 people at a time, no exceptions. Roam Creative Studio’s hourly rates are based on the TOTAL number of people that enter and leave the studio space throughout your entire rental period. This is based on foot traffic not by the number of people in the studio at a time. If you plan to have 11+ people in the studio, you will need to make the 11+ People selection when booking. This total number includes yourself as well.
For example, if you have 8 clients + 1 photographer + 1 videographer = 10 people, you’ll need to make the 7-10 People Total selection when booking. If you have more than the selected booking amount, we will know and we will charge your credit card on file accordingly.
Roam Creative Studio has a security camera inside the studio. The camera is used primarily for risk management, monitoring the number of people inside the studio, ensuring renters on-time departure, and security of the space. Please use the available restroom for any wardrobe changes needed. Footage will never be shared, posted, or made public.
If the renter damages any furniture, walls, photo studio equipment, etc. in Roam Creative Studio, the renter is responsible for ALL damages and will be billed with the credit card on file.
Roam Creative Studio, its owners and co-workers are not liable for any damages or injuries that may incur to the renter and the renter’s participants or clients. The renter is solely responsible for the actions of him/himself and his/her participants/clients.
At no time are renters and their parties/clients allowed to engage in any kind of unlawful activities while on the premises.
Roam Creative Studio is not responsible or liable for any lost or stolen items. Items left behind in Roam will be thrown away. Roam is not responsible for any items left behind at any time.
Minors: All underage guests must be accompanied by their legal guardian.
Music: Music can be played from Bluetooth speaker at a reasonable volume. The landlord or owner may as you to turn it down if it’s too loud.
Need extra time at the end of your rental? Text or call 400-567-2446 to see if your time can be extended. There is a chance we can extend your rental if there’s not another time slot booked directly after yours.
Mini Sessions: Renter is required to notify Roam Creative Studios if planning to host Mini Sessions, and will need to acknowledge they agree, understand and have read Mini Sessions Terms and Conditions: https://www.roamcreativestudio.com/mini-sessions-terms-and-conditions
ITEMS THAT ARE PROHIBITED FROM BEING MOVED:
Roam Creative Studio has an oversized, floor-length mirror made of wood. The mirror is NEVER to be moved or touched. It is delicate, heavy, and in its permanent place. Any removal from its original location will result in a $100.00 fee.
Glass top desk with wood frame. This must be moved by the wooden leg frames and is NOT to be moved by the glass top.
NO STANDING ON FURNITURE! No more than 4 people on a couch at a time, and no sitting on the arm rests. A fee is charged at owner discretion if any furniture is damaged.
The shelves on the back, north-facing wall located next to the restroom are STRICTLY PROHIBITED from being rearranged or moved. These shelves are delicate and simply there for a decor + background aesthetic purposes. You are not to rearrange, touch, remove, add to or mess with these shelves. Any removal from its original location will result in a $100.00 fee.
The following items are PROHIBITED from any use in Roam Creative Studio. A fee is charged at owner discretion for food, spills, stains. Broken items will be at a new cost. Fee is final once accessed.
Glitter and confetti of any kind
Nails in the wall(s)
Silly string
Superglue, duct tape, gorilla tape or any kind of sticky adhesive that cannot be easily removed on any surface of the studio
Open flame
Paint
Pets of any kind
Items ACCESSIBLE to renters:
Roam Creative Studio has a white couch, a green sofa, three (3) wood accent chairs, four (4) black dining chairs, kitchenette, various stools, props and various decor items available. Anything in the open space is available for your use with the exception of the white floating shelves located on the back, south-facing wall of the studio.
Items INACCESSIBLE to renters:
Anything within the storage closet located next to the main entrance is OFF LIMITS and prohibited to renters to take, borrow or use any of the items.
Props available for additional rental: Three paper backdrops can be added onto your rental for a fee of $15 per 7 feet per roll. Please do not cut the paper backdrops. Any damage to paper backdrops (large rips, tears, cuts) after use will result in a $25 fee.
ARRIVAL, ACCESSIBILITY, CHECK-IN + Check-OUT:
You may not enter Roam Creative Studio early. You must be packed up and exit the studio at the end of your rental time. Often, rentals are booked back to back. Because of this, both setup and cleanup must be completed in your reserved rental time. Please be sure to notify all attending parties of this rule prior to your reserved rental time. Your reservation ends on time. If you overstay, $20 is charged for every 5 minutes extending into the next hour, and you will be charged accordingly.
48 hours prior to your rental you will receive a reminder email with information on how to check in, studio cleanup and your access code to the building. 24 hours prior you will receive another reminder email regarding your upcoming studio time and access code to the building and interior door. You will also receive an email 2 hours prior to your check in time with instruction and access codes.
Leave the space as you found it. Put all furniture back to as close to where it was when you found it. Make sure to close the curtains and turn off all the lights. Any excessive messes or cleanup needed after your departure will result in a $100 charge. ‘Excessive messes’ will be determined by the On-Call Host.
If there are any excessive messes or damages when you arrive, please call 567-400-2446 immediately.
All trash must be thrown away at the end of your rental. You can find a trash can under the kitchenette.
When you leave, make sure the door is pulled shut tight and locked. Leaving the door open or unlocked is a breach of security and will result in a minimum $100 fine, no exceptions.
Roam Creative Studio LLC is located on the second floor of the Historic Uptown Maumee Ohio District. Due to the building’s historic status, stair access is the only accessibility to the second floor.
